Teams that made it to the final round, countined to go to Super MACC at Radford University. EMHS All around and math teams were qualified to attend and compete in the Super MACC at RU. Not only did these two teams qualify to compete, they both brought home a trophy that are now sitting in the office window.

The All around team has some of East Monts brightest students including Laney Edwards, Skylar Jones, Brett Smith,Jack Graves, Brett Smith, Gabe Boulding, Sergio Schnack, and Saul Pineda-Torres. As for the Math team they have the brightest students on the team including Tony Amato, Annalyse McHone, Saul Pineda-Torres, and Sergio Schnack. Mr. Tatum, EMHS’s head MACC coach, organized the tournament, “This has been by far the largest task I have had to take on in my career, and it was made so much easier by EMHS teachers and many professionals who volunteered to moderate and judge. The estimate is that there were about 180 students at the tournament and 30 coaches. I received zero complaints about emcees and judges, and I received many, many compliments.”
